    So out my three only the basil rooted. The other two were experimental :smile:

    Not sure if it counts but the cut ends of  an onion and celery sprouted roots really quickly.

    Never! 😂 I am definitely doing something wrong. Going to try again today. 3rd time lucky! Fingers crossed

    @BloodyNora I'd claim that as a success. Absolutely nothing of mine has rooted so I would definitely claim that haha

    What's best clean or murky water? Anyone know?

    Mine aren't good either.  I'll try again and...spit on the jar for luck!!

    I've never tried this onion... propagation, BN.  Interesting!

    Change the water if you feel it needs it, though I think if the water is dirty, they won’t root or they would have done so by that stage.
