Avantgarde hydrangea winter care

My lovely hydrangea has done very well over the past 2 years and has grown from a single bloom to almost a meter. It is in a pot and we overwinter it in our cellar with minimal light.

Sadly, this year, after we brought it out again, it was stuck by a very harsh frost late May killing all the new growth.  I cut off all of the damaged parts and since, the foliage has flourished though didn't produce any flowers at all.

As it's almost time to overwinter it again, I'd be very grateful for advice.  Should I prune it now to encourage flowering?  If we kept in a light place in the house over winter, is it likely to flower before next year?

Similar situation with our outdoor hydrangeas....lovely foliage though no flowers this year.  Should these be pruned before frost?

Many thanks in anticipation.
