Does anyone recognise this? It's growing in my 'wild area'. I've scattered so many seeds in this spot that I can lose track. It's only recently popped up so I'm interested in knowing whether it will survive the winter, whatever it is....

Thanks!
It will also spread everywhere so watch out for the seeds next year

Ah, I see. Maybe I'll pull it then, I've got enough on my plate with the rampant willoherb in my garden without inviting more unruliness! I do like to have self seeders in this patch but they've got to earn their keep and self seed within a defined area...unlike the willowherb that seems to grow everywhere, including my gutters.
