Woodland plant id?

Morning all!
A little challenge for you - can anyone id this small plant in a woodland garden? They're scattered around in clumps, the tallest being 6" high. Heart shaped leaves. The stem is slightly ridged along the inside

The rounded one being held looks like some sort of geum perhaps?
