Fuchsia gall mite

I have just found some of my Fuchsias have Gall mite,if I strip them and cut them back will this save them?

    The best thing to do is cut off the affected areas and keep an eye on new growth. If you see new growth with the issue, then yes, cut them back. Remove all dead leaves and buds off the base of the plant and make sure blades are cleaned out thoroughly, especially if you have other Fucshias in your garden. 

    I also recommend carefully scraping off the top layer of soil and replacing it with fresh mulch. If it is caught early, there is no reason why your plant will die.
