Gladioli not flowering

imageMy wonderful yellow gladioli that I planted last year haven't flowered at all this year. Just sent up lots of smaller leaves.  I was wondering whether to lift them this Autumn, overwinter and replant next spring or leave well alone and see what they do next year.  Any advice out there?

  • Here in Alberta Canada I have to dig up and store every fall. Looks like you have a lot of baby bulbs attached to the bigger.  Perhaps if you are able to overwinter in ground, just leave them and separate the small ones in the spring. The leaves look healthy so I bet you will have good blooms next year.
