image These are on my  bay laurel. Any idea how to tackle?

    They look like scale insects. They are quite resistant. They suck sap.  Start by scraping them off and look up on the Internet what to do next. I'm afraid I haven't found a total cure. Others may advise you better.

    Painting methylated spirit on them will kill them.
