Exactly!  I have no idea why OH thinks I can stretch further than the average human being.  I know he thinks I'm superwoman but honestly, there are limits!

Wow, what a good sized plot.

How many people are you growing for?

Have you decided on your planting plan. Will you have perennial fruit and veg beds?

At least a third of my plots perennial planting,

2 GH's take up more space and  cut flowers beds need to take in flowering times in order to have flowers to cut throughout the growing season.

  • Wow, you have truly inspired me. I have just taken on a wild and completely overgrown 300m2 plot and am starting from scratch. Can't wait to see how it may look in a year!

Thanks for the comments one and all.

I have to confess, right now, I've no idea what to plant.

I've got young penstemon plants I raised as cuttings last year which I ought to get in there. Also lots of zantedeschia which I grew from seed which I want to mass plant down by the lake when they're bigger.

Next year, I plan sweet peas on the bed against the fence, next to the water butts.

Who knows? It's all part of the fun. image

  • Hosta you know what is coming next!

Will you come & do mine?  Actually I moved away from deep beds as I couldn't keep the bindweed out but yours does look great wish I was that well organised.
