Split tomatoes

Hello I've been growing different tomatoes in pots and I've noticed that on some of the fruit the skin have split and gone a bit mouldy can anyone tell me why this happens and how I stop it from happening again next year thank all the best mark xx

Hi Mark - splitting is usually caused by inconsistent watering.
