Moving a massive Delicious Monster
We have a Delicious Monster in our garden that is about 3m tall, and the stems are about 20cm in diameter. The plant has been planted underneath a tree and the aerial roots have wrapped firmly around the trunk of the tree. We expanding our house and the builders said we are going to have to move the plant or lose it. I want to replant next to another tree at a spot with the same type of soil as well as the same amount of sunlight where the plant is currently located. Any suggestions how to go about it? Is it possible to move a plant like this?

What country are you in?
Monstera deliciosa (swiss cheese plant) is a house plant in the UK.
I'm in South Africa, here I've seen them as house plants and garden plants.
You could prrobably take a large cutting off of it with aerial roots already on, But I suspect it might be easier to just buy a new plant for the new site.
