Flowering now on next years raspberry canes

I have summer fruiting raspberries that I've had crops from for 3 years.

I've had the crop from this year and cut back the old canes.

I see that there are flowers forming at the very top of the new green canes.

This isn't right is it? Any idea what is happening and what should I do to help next year's crop?

Enjoy them. Cut the fruited bits off and you will find the same canes will fruit again next summer.

Do you let the flowers fruit or cut them off before?

Let them fruit. In winter cut the cane to just below where it fruited. It will send out side shoots which will fruit next summer.

Thank you so much.  I have had the same problem for the last few years.  It is obviously not a problem as you get a small but second crop.
