Brown Spots on Olives

I have a Frantoioi Olive tree.  I'm located in Southern California.  This is the first year I have a reasonable number of olives and lots of them have these brown spots.  What do I have and how should I treat it?

    Are you two related? As in, is Brian the polite half of your split personality? Strange you should both join the same day and post on the same topic with an identical title!

    Either way, looks like you (singular or plural) have insect damage there - you can see the bore hole. Cut it open and you will probably find a grub of some sort.
