    That's interesting about the heat, a lot of my tomatoes that didn't get shaded from the heat have developed BER, those underneath are OK. Lesson to be learned for next year is to buy enough shading before the heatwaves!

    The first trusses had set well before the heat, plus we covered the greenhouse during the really hot weeks, so I'm still unsure of cause @floralies

    That's interesting @purplerallim maybe we will never know the exact cause! Perhaps a combination of things.

    Perhaps some varieties are more prone to BER than others, I have 4 varieties growing outside and 1 variety has BER the other 3 are fine.
