Bay Tree Destruction

Advice needed please. What is wrong with my poor Bay Tree? I found one tiny green caterpillar on it but don't believe that it is working alone although I cannot find any other culprits. My other bay tree is not affected at all.

From the leaves you have presented, the plant is not happy, which is probably why it's under attack. Are you watering it consistently and making sure the soil is free draining? Inconsistent watering can also weaken the plant. I don't know where you are keeping this Bay Tree, but it looks like the leaves have had a bit of weather damage, like cold drying winds. Make sure it is not under a tree either. They need sheltered areas preferably near a warm wall.
