Green waste bin smothered in white bugs
Hi all,
I came home from holiday too find my green waste bin absolutely smothered in tiny pin head sized mites. I got them all over me and was itching for hours! Horrible! I hosed the bin off thoroughly but they have returned and I just got my own mower out of the shed and the grass box was covered in them!
I've managed to take a photo of a single critter if that helps!

It looks like it has 8 legs which would make it a mite rather than an insect but can't help further than that.
Big fleas have little fleas,
Upon their backs to bite 'em,
And little fleas have lesser fleas,
and so, ad infinitum.
A mite of some sort. I think pansyface has the answer.
A good squirt with household fly spray should sort it.
