    Congratulations, David, you've developed a new variety.   I don't know if the plant world has anything equivalent to a patent or copyright!

  • Thank you Dove and Berghill, I will report back in a month or so, perhaps cut into one to test whether a small apple or crab apple - Yes, congratulations David, the apples look perfect and I am sorry to gate crash this post. It just goes to show it is pot luck when you plant some pips and you have struck lucky.
