Unknown spots of grass

I had new turf laid in may of this year and within the past month all these spots of grass have been appearing. The type of grass that is sprouting is also more or less growinh down one side of my garden. 

within this time I got a puppy so I'm unsure if this is anything to do with it. 

any advice is appreciated :)

    I think your puppy is weeing on it. The amount of rain we have is washing it in and the nitrogen makes it bright green. If we didn't have a lot of rain, you would get brown dead patches. Try to train your puppy to water in one spot, then flush with plenty of water each day.

    She generally does go down that one side which is why it's so full of the spots but i will try and condense it more!
