Lemon Tree bugs
Hi, on my lemon tree, I have noticed these little bug nests over numerous leaves, both top and bottom. If left alone and they 'hatch' it leave a sticky residue which then attracts ants.
So far I have found no product good at removal and have had to resort to individually checking the plant leaf by leaf and simply scraping off.
Can anyone give me help / advice on how to help?

They look like scale insects and you are doing the right thing if the tree is small and you can do this yourself, remove them, and maybe wipe the leaves carefully. I know this sounds strange, but I think it is your best option. Damp wipe them and dry wipe them afterwards, but be very careful doing this, so not to disturb the leaves too much. Scrape off the top layer of your soil too and lay new layer on top. Remove any dead leaves lying around straight away.
