Feeding yew hedge with a folia spray liquid seaweed
Hi there new hear, just wondered if anyone has experience using a organic liquid seaweed for a folia spray on a yew hedge.. Thanks in advance for any responses

Yew has a waxy coating on it, so I wonder if it will actually absorb foliar feed.
I agree.
I use a lot of seaweed extract and it does work wonders, but it'll just run off waxy leaves.
If you've got enough of it, feed it to the roots.

Thanks for the responses o!! What rate are you mixing it to Pete would you say 20ml per 5L of water? Don't want to harm them.. Thanks in advance...
I generally use 25ml ish per 5L - I don't measure it.
You wont overdo it unless you go crazy with the stuff. It contains some nitrogen but it's mostly trace minerals which helps keep plants in good health. Just about all plants benefit from it
