Gardening Project in Kent looking for Volunteers

Good Morning Gardeners!

My name is Tom, and I am the Marketing Apprentice for Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind.

As part of my job, I am looking at ways to get more people interested in joining our Garden Project so we are able to create a beautiful communal space at the Live-It-Well centre on Holland Road, Maidstone.

As part of our project, we have been working with volunteers in the local community to clear away weeds and brambles and begin a transformation to take this space and use the opportunity to create an amazing area of natural beauty within Maidstone.

Our plans include adding a sensory trail which will utilise a themed painted garden wall, benches, an undercover teaching area, and so much more!

We have a great plan in place for this space, and we want to turn it into something truly incredible, but this will not be possible without the help of our gardening communities! Even if you can only spare one or two days, we would appreciate your time and the effort to help transform this space to meet it's full potential.
