Help identifying plant please

Hi, we have lots of these shrubs at work and I think they would be perfect for a jungle area I am planting in my garden. They look like mahonias to me but I was unsure with their height and shape. Thanks in advance. Sorry for the landscape pic, posting from phone

    Hi Rachel image If photos don't upload try reducing the size - that usually works.

    Have you seen them bloom? They could be sumac (Rhus)... Mahonias have very tough leaves.

    Definitely Mahonia sp.

    *tilts head sideways* Looks like Mahonia to me as well, they can get that tall easily. Are the leaves serrated?

    Are the leaves vicious swines ?  If so, it's Mahonia.
