    Looks like you've made a really good job of that image. A nice thick mulch on now and it'll be much easier for whoever comes after

    Well done, that's a lot of work done! I can see the roses have been enjoying your clay soil anyway. They look in great health already. Once you smother the beds with good compost, manure or mulch, they will stand out immediately.

    You've done a great job so far.  I hope the owners appreciate it.   Mulching will certainly help the soil and the roses.
