Rudbeckia Pest

Hi all,
Would anybody know what is wrong with Rudbeckia Goldsturm this year? About 30% of the blooms are looking awful and it looks like some pest? They were terrific last year and put on a great show. This year they look terrible as you can see
Thanks in advance

The only pest that I know that attacks them is slugs/snails. They are generally pest free.
Thanks Alan. Would slugs/snails go after the flowers though? All the foliage seems fine. I'll throw on some soapy water and hope for the best i guess.
Hi, Jaffacakes. My Goldsturm was fantastic last year too. It is just coming into flower now with only two of many buds having opened so far. The two flowers look exactly the same as yours. What a disappointment. We have had quite a few very wet spells over the last few weeks. Could that be the problem? There are odd holes in the leaves but the vast majority of the leaves are fine.
Thanks daisym. I removed all flowers that looked distorted and it seems to look a bit healthier recently. Perhaps it was the rain we had for a while. We've had dry spell again recently so maybe it has bounced back.
I think that looks like weather damage.
