Very tall daisy

Hi everyone, I have a very tall, large clump forming daisy-like plant, probably about 4 feet tall, which falls over in every direction each year.  It really needs substantial support... anyone have any ideas?

    Hello W the Wisp ;

    Probably not the same plant , but last week I was digging out large swathes of Bupthalmum salicifolium , (Yes , about 4' tall , small daisy like flowers on straggly stems leaning everywhere ). A waste of border space in my opinion .

    Sounds similar , but just guessing here image

    Have you tried Bupthalmum speciosum (aka Telekia speciosa) Paul? Much more impressive and able to support itself.

    We really need a photo for an ID, many things fall over, my garden is often at 45 degrees or less to the horizontal image

    Hello nut ; havn't tried that one ; looks quite impressive though . Maybe a species for a more 'wild',naturalistic (and larger) garden than my own .
