Skimmia Pest
My Skimmia Reevesiania is looking 'sick'. Leaves nibbled and some stuck together with cobwebby sticky stuff. Can't actually see 'pest' (eyesight not great). Any advice would be appreciated

I had two Skimmia that were the same, though mine were infested.
The culprit was Tortrix / Light Brown Apple moth larvae ( small green caterpillars ) that live between two stuck together leaves and come out at night to munch on the rest.
Depending on how bad yours are, try and pick off the stuck together leaves to get rid of the caterpillars.
The Skimmia will probably recover, but mine were so infested I ended up binning them.
Hi Shep thanks for speedy response. I'll give it a try but I think it may end up rather bare!
