Ants nest in compost bin

I have acquired an ants nest in my black plastic compost, should I leave alone? Try to get rid of them? The bin is quite near the house

they'll do no harm, but it's an indication that your compost bin was probably a bit too dry.
Hmm, we water it quite regularly. Will add more, I guess the black plastic heats up more than an open compost heap
