Thanks that was quick. I need to prune the tree so shall prune out this nest
So that's what it was ... I found the empty 'nest' on my espalier Concorde pear a few days ago when I started getting back into the garden following my 'accident' and enforced 6 weeks on the sofa ...... a few leaves missing at the end of a branch and the empty webbing and detritus ........ doesn't seem to have done much damage
