hydrangea wont bloom

This year two of my Vannile Fraise hydrangeas have not produced any blooms, does anyone have advice?

    How disapointing for you.
    I've had similar problems in the past and realised it's down to me pruning at the wrong time.

    If it's not that, then I can only think that they don't like the position or soil they're in...

  • I was just about to make a post along these lines when I came across yours shirleymatcham, mine have been decidedly lacklustre this year, but having read that link from Pete8 I'm guessing I overfed mine, because I have lovely lush growth, but only a few blooms. A lesson learned I guess, will cut back on the mollycoddling next year lol.
