Plant I.D.

in Plants
Hi all. Sorry they're a bit sideyways but can anyone tell me what this is? I was given it and told it was some sort of wild orchid. It grows to about 4ft apparently. (121.92cm )

I don't think it s an Orchid PP. Possibly one of the Veronica or Veronicastrum family? Are the leaves succulent? Its a little difficult to tell from your pictures?
Pink toadflax?
That's what the distance view looks like to me Grannybee. Close up is too blurred to be sure.
Not an orchid though.
Maybe there was an orchid in the pot and the Linaria seeded into it.

Looks like Linaria purpurea , pink version, Canon Went, to me.

Thanks all. That looks like the fellow.
It likes sandy

My dad was a photographer nut. He once looked at my "snaps" and told me my water was running downhill. I said "water'll do that"!
