Is it too early for primroses

  I would like to know if this is a little early for a primrose plant to flower now. The first flower came out a few weeks ago and now another one is coming out.  I thought that they  only came out in the spring.

  It would be interesting to know if anyone else has had primroses this time of year and why it happens

  Mine (primroses) flower regularly throughout summer

  We had primroses flowering last year from early autumn right though the winter and spring.  None so far this year that I've seen, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they pop up before long
