Arbour or summerhouse?

What do people recommend? Arbour or summer house?
Arbour is more exposed but less likely to get full of spiders.
Summer house seems a cosy idea but quite dark and difficult to keep clean.

Can't speak for arbour, don't have one, but summerhouse is not dark (South facing) and is only small so cleaning is minimal (but I am a low-clean type of person). I couldn't care less about spiders so not sure if I'm helping or not?
