    It looks like a Thalictrum Delavayi, Chinese Meadow Rue.

    I concur. Its other name is Thalictrum dipterocarpum. I forget which name is the current one.  I like the single form but there is a double one called Hewitts double. I can't see the flowers well enough to tell which you have.   The single one is easy to grow from seed.

    That's lovely and definitely a thalictrum.  I bought a delavayii once but it was mis-labelled and grew to over 2m tall.   Still gorgeous tho.

    I had the double form many moons ago, fidget. The buds were like little bunches of grapes. Lovely thing image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I've got several clumps of them round the garden - one of my favourites and they flower for ages. One is nearly 7ft tall atm

    I have 2 varieties in my garden : Thalictrum delavayi ‘Ankum’, which can grow quite tall (measured at 2.80 meters last year) and Thalictrum delavayi ‘Album’, much shorter but nice bushy habit.

    I like T.flavum subsp. gaucum.

    Tall, bluish leaves and yellow flowers. Grows well in my bog garden.

    T. Black Stockings is also lovely, with very dark stems.

    I have Thalictrum rochebrunianum - a stunning plant, and it self-seeded. The new plants are a bit smaller in stature, I hope I can hold on to it. I don't really know the difference between this species and other thalictrums.
