Blobs of jelly in compost

While repotting I found this egg shaped jelly orbs. I think I removed them all, but it still gives me nightmares and I'd like to know what are those little monsters.

Thanks,

Kata

  • Thanks guys!

    You confirmed my worst fears.

anyway, I find it weird, as they're left in the garden for days now and nothing has changed in the consistency or shape of those misterious eggs. Not even birds are interested! (Maybe they don't like slug eggs?!).

They're a perfectly normal part of garden life. Nothing to be frightened of  image
