round cucumbers

Would love some advice... Ive only ever grown potatoes and onions with great success and bought a cucumber plant called Tiny Tot. Its growing like mad and ive got it winding round a bamboo frame thing but the fruits arent growing lengthways. One is the size of a tomato now!

My variety of cucumber is called crystal lemon and the round fruits reach the size of tennis balls before ripening. It does go mad growing too so only ever get two plants. Lol.
Just looked up your variety and maybe you are leaving them a little long as they are supposed to be very small when ripe. Hope this helps.
Maybe the plant is an impostor and not Tiny Tot at all - any chance of a pic?

It's about the size and colour of a lemon now. I cut one in half and it's definitely cucumber like! Having trouble attaching pictures though

I've harvested between 1 and (once)11 cues per day since mid june. All the neighbours say they're delicious too

Hello justinexyz are you growing yours in greenhouse or outside are you down south or up north , I am in Stockport but growing mine in greenhouse just wondering if I could grow them outside next year .
Hi Jason I'm in Liverpool. They started off in a greenhouse, but after the hot spell we had recently I put them outside and the fruits have continued to grow like mad! I got my daughter to have a taste and she said were okay but very crunchy so might need a bit longer?
Yes that Crystal lemon one looks just like what I have!
