Is this a red spider mite?

image

just found a few of these hiding in my begonias, they don't look like the red spider mite pics on google but I can't think what else they would be?

Does anyone know if these are a real problem as all my plants are in pots nearby each other & don't want it spreading!

Many thanks in advance

It's not red spider mite because they are almost too small to be seen with the naked eye.  With a snout like that I think it is a weevil of some sort.

It appears to be one of the seed weevils, possibly Apion frumentarium, and if so is found on docks.

  • Thanks for all the replies, they aren't very big at all, that was zoomed in to get a better picture . So it won't kill my plants then? I've removed the Ines I found & removed all damaged leaves & just sprayed neem oil, hoping I've done the right thing as I try not to use pesticides & incectisides unless its my last or only option!

Ive never heard of any of the above, so much to learn but willing so that's a good start!

    Thanks to all again
