CaN anyone tell me what this is

had this for a few years and it just sprouted the long thing image

    Are the leaves serrated at the edges ; from that distance looks like it could be a Dasylirion , but can't tell 100% .image

    It must be some sort of yucca (maybe Yucca filamentosa), but anyway the blooms don't seem to have opened yet...

    Still think it's a Dasylirion or Mexican Grass Tree ; they eventually form a trunk with large grass-like heads ; they're hardy to about  -8 C in a gritty soil ; good luck and look after it !image
