Tomato plants

Hi please can someone advice me  somthing is eating my tomatoes which are still green i did fond few black  beetles on leaves which are now full of holes  please can you advice is it best to pick them all now and ripen indoors rather than lose them all  thanks

    The only time I've had this happen it was slugs/snails.
    It was mostly the lower trusses that had been nibbled but the little bu**ers did some damage to trusses up to about 2ft off the ground.

    Could be caterpillars of the Tomato moth:

    I get some damage from them most years.  The caterpillars are hard to find as they are nocturnal and are good at hiding during the day.  Look for small black specks of their droppings on leaves below the damaged area.

    yikes! I didn't even know such a thing existed.

    yep last night found slugs moths caterpilers al feasting im thinking of picking some and ripening them indoors i dont want to lose any more thanks
