Turnips

bazabaza Posts: 670

Hello Everyone

We picked a big turnip about a week ago but when we cut in half it was white not yellow and when we cooked it was very watery. The thing is our turnips are huge now and it doesnt feel right leaving them in the ground in case they rot but people say we should wait for the first frost but thats months away

Any advice please

Thanks

Baz

Thanks Scroggin i think we have made a mistake between swedes and turnips . We have planted turnips and not swedes i thought they were all the same but you learn something new everyday. Will they be any good with the size they have got

    Thanks
