I think tree suckers, cherry maybe?
I agree ... tree suckers ... probably cherry/plum type
Ah. Thank you. I did suspect as there is a cherry tree next door but on the opposite side of the garden. The suckers sudde popped up on my borders and on the lawn. I sudp trees but didn't want to uproot in case they were lucky desirable invaders
