Saplings in the lawn
I recently cut down a tree (or rather it fell down due to insufficient root growth under my neighbours propert). Now I'm experiencing lots of saplings in the lawn. What's the best way to eradicate them?

This is a picture of the sapling growth from the root.
suckers, far worse than saplings.
The more roots you can pull out the better. Looks like Rhus typhina? a real pain for this, never had to deal with it, only cherries which do the same. Without the tree the cherries give up eventually if mowed off regularly. They can't live forever if all the leaves are removed

Yes as above, keep, cutting or weed killer if you use it. It's programmed to try to grow and survive and as the roots are still viable, they will continue use to sprout unless checked in anyway you are able to do.
