Had a strange looking plant appears in my garden. I have no idea what it is, can anyone identify it for me?

Sometimes you need to reduce the size of your photo for it to upload.

It's the seed head of an Arum, very likely Arum maculatum (aka cuckoo pint, lords and ladies etc.)  The poisonous seeds will turn red and look very decorative.  It can be very invasive so I would remove the whole stalk before the seeds drop.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Get rid ASAP

I had one many years ago and thought it so pretty I left it.
About 15 years on I'm still plagued with them every year all over the garden - almost impossible to get rid of them once they set seed.

Glad you got your photo uploaded ;)
