  • Help !!

I thought my box hedges and the dreaded blight, but on closer inspection I have seen a large number of caterpillars are eating the leaves

in the space of a few days the plants have lost all the leaves and turned brown, it is spreading like wild fire

what if anything can be done????

Pick them off as regularly as yout can. In my experience you only need to do this for a month or so, after which any that are left will turn into moths. The plants will revive, although they look unsightly.

  • thanks for that but I have 25  box hedges in various shapes and sizes, some I have had for 10 years....

I have tried picking off the caterpillars but there is to many, they are sprending very fast
