Main crop potatos
in Fruit & veg
I am growing my main crop pots in containers and the green tops are going bonkers. They have grown up and down the containers and now going along the patio. I water them every other day. Do you think it would be ok to cut them back to the containers. There are also some new growth growing at the back of the containers were the others have grown over the front and down onto the ground.
They are like triffids taking over the patio.
Any advice would be appreciated. Cherry

The leaves are the factory which is manufacturing the food that will make your spuds swell. Your plant needs them ... Leave them alone

Ok will do I just cant believe how big they are though.
Thank you
I wouldn't water them too much either - they can start to rot in bags or containers
