Slight issue with our Wisteria

Good morning everyone,

We have 2 Wisteria, 1 at the back of our house which is beautiful, gets trimmed annually and gets on with life and gives a stunning display and 1 at the front. This 1 has gone rogue and decided to grow under the floor and into our kitchen. Knowing what the other 1 has done in its years, grown from a twig shoved in the ground to a trunk about 9 inches across, I don't want his to happen here. Not knowing how deep or where the root is travelling, its not practical to dig the front of the house up, nor is it possible to pull the kitchen floor up.

Do you have any ideas what can be done, will a weak weed killer kill a part without effecting the rest or is it really reconstruction work in or outside of the house?

Many thanks Wayne ;0(

Glyphosate will kill it inside and outside. It sounds like you either lose the wisteria or the kitchen floor. I am amazed it has gone through the foundations unless you have a really old house.
