Rose killed by gardener!

imageMy gardener, as she does not like roses so does not know how to look after them has now pruned 2 to death or near death during the summer, I do not know why she did this but one was my late husband's favourite,so i am very very upset. It has 1 leaf left on it and several cut stems, is there a way of resurrecting it, i have watered and fed. the other one has gone to cork, a bright yellow rose think terminal any help gratefully recived. did wonder if i dug up presumed dead rose and replanted it might resurrect but doubtful!

No point digging it up. That will def kill it at this time of year. Water and feed and put a" keep off" sign on  it.
