I hate watering the pots, filling the watering can, winding the hose up.

    Evening everyone,

I'm with Kathmay on slugs and snails .... although the nematodes are a great help.

My other pet hate is the million and one local pheasants ... a real pain (especially in Spring).  They seem to enjoy snapping the heads off things just when they are looking lovely. Snakeshead fritillary were a firm favourite this year ... nothing sadder than a forest of decapitated plants.

Rant over ... time for a gin.

Yes, you can use my lawnmower, as long as you don't take it out of my garden.

  • When Ride On Mower gives trouble? and the work involved to have well tended shrub/flower beds looking good. And tending plants in GH before planting out.. alot of maintenance with watering and potting on, hardening off. Would love to have a magic wand ... and hey presto? All done and everything immaculate ... wishful thinking?
