Unidentified grass, can anyone identify?

Can anyone tell me what this lovely grass is please?  It's hardy and grows about two feet tall. Has clusters of seeds rather than plumes.  Mid green. Perennial.  not sure my pic has attached!

The picture is a little close, but I think it's possibly Luzula Nivea, Snowy Woodrush. Very versatile grass that thrives in shade as well as sun, provided it's in moist soil.

  • Hello and thanks very much for this. I couldn't find anything like it to identify it. That is very helpful. Regards Jayne
