Mysterious fruit tree

Hi I have found his fruit tree in the garden and cant find out what it is. Just need to know if the fruits are poisonous as I have small children. Thanks in advance

Looks like a plum tree but can't say which variety. Best left to a more experienced tree spotter
something like bullace I should think.
Have you looked inside one to see what it looks and smells like?
In the sticks near Peterborough
It's green inside very juicy can't place the smell but it just smells sweet like fruit
Mirabelle plum perhaps? Very tasty and makes great jam.
agree with Steephill and find the fruits to be very sweet when fully ripe.
