Argeratum dying after I deadhead it?

Hi! I just got an argeratum and I'm having trouble caring for it. I deadheaded some of the flower buds that were turning brown and then the plant started turning brown and withering all over. I've attached a picture.
I've been watering every 2-3 days. I keep the plant inside next to the window that are facing south. I'm in a dry place (Denver CO).
Any suggestions or advice?
