Newbie Question - Pot Sizes
in Plants
Hi Everyone,I'm a noob to gardening....bought some Chrysanthemum, Salvia and Dahlia from a store in 2 litre pots.....want to grow them in containers but don't want to put them in if the container will be too small......is there an ideal container size that these plants will grow too?
Thanks

Depends Nathan. There are chrysanths that don't grow to more than 15cm and others that grow to 150cm or more. Same goes for the dahlia and saliva.
There's more to gardening than meets the eye
Are they named varieties? If so, let us have the names and I'm sure you'll get some ideas here
If not some photos would help

No names on them, but here's the pictures...thanks so much for your help
They can all be kept in their 2L pots for the rest of this season or you could put the dahlia in a bigger pot, but it would grow more leaves. They'd grow bigger in the garden.
They will grow again next year if you want them to
If you wanted to grow them together, then a typical garden planter would do nicely. None of them will get significantly bigger this year.
